Paul Marz

Built by Paul Marz. Twenty years at The Walt Disney Company, most recently Director of Operations. He helped build the operational infrastructure behind the Disney+ launch, delivered $22M+ in cost savings across his programs, and holds two U.S. patents as an inventor. Two-time Million Dollar Challenge winner. Laid off at 55.

You Didn't Get Worse at Your Job. You Just Lost the One Thing That Used to Explain It.

For years, your title did the talking. You didn't need to explain what you were worth. The org chart did that for you.

Then the layoff happened. And suddenly you're staring at a blank LinkedIn headline, a résumé that reads like a job description, and a question you don't have a clean answer to: so what's next?

You've probably already tried a few things.

  • Updated your résumé... just the dates.
  • Told your network you're "exploring options."
  • Applied to jobs that felt misaligned, under-leveled, or designed for a different stage of career.
  • Had a few calls that went nowhere, you couldn't explain your value in one sentence.

None of that is a competence problem. It's a packaging problem. And it's not going to fix itself while you wait for the right job posting to appear.

This Is Not a Job Board. Not a Coaching Program. Not Another Course That Tells You to "Build Your Brand."

  • Job placement or recruiting, no one here can get you an interview or promise a job.
  • A six-month coaching engagement with weekly calls.
  • A course that tells a 58-year-old to "start posting daily on LinkedIn."

What it is: a self-paced system that turns your experience into materials you can use. In 14 days. On your own schedule.

Be Honest With Yourself About Whether This Is You

This is for you if
  • You were recently laid off after a real career
  • You have expertise but no clean way to explain it
  • You want a system, not a blank page
  • You can give it 30 to 45 minutes a day
  • You want materials you make your own
This isn't for you if
  • You want someone to hand you a job
  • You won't write anything down or answer honestly
  • You want ongoing calls and hand-holding
  • You expect a guaranteed outcome

Everything Inside the Sprint

One guided assessment, one personalized report, three application tools, and one optional bonus. Here's exactly what each one is and what it does for you.

Hero Deliverable

The Next Move Positioning Assessment

One guided assessment, 20 questions, about 20 minutes. Produces a personalized report, built on deterministic logic, not AI guesswork.

What it gives you:

  • Recommended target problem
  • Recommended audience type
  • Positioning statement, three variants
  • Three outcome-based proof points
  • Three LinkedIn headline drafts
  • Résumé summary draft
  • Three outreach angles
  • Personalized 14-day action plan

Replaces the Expertise Inventory, Target Problem Worksheet, Positioning Statement Builder, and 14-Day Action Tracker.

Then three application tools help you put the report to work:

Application Tool

LinkedIn Rewrite Template

Apply the positioning statement to the profile.

  • Headline built from your positioning statement, not your job title
  • About section that leads with the problem you solve
  • Before-and-after structure so you see exactly what changed
Application Tool

Résumé Accomplishment Builder

Convert responsibilities to measurable outcomes.

  • Turns "managed" and "responsible for" into results-first bullets
  • Slots in the proof points from your report
  • One consistent format for every bullet on the page
Application Tool

Networking and Recruiter Scripts

Turn report angles into outreach.

  • Opening messages for former colleagues, ex-bosses, and referrals
  • A recruiter-facing version that leads with your target
  • Replaces "let me know if you hear of anything" with a message that gets a reply
Optional Bonuses

Interview Story Framework: convert your proof points into a structured Problem, Action, Result answer, ready before you're in the room.

Expertise-to-Consulting Worksheet: the primary path here is repositioning for your next role. If independent or consulting income is something you're curious about exploring alongside that, this worksheet exists for you, it's a bonus, not a second program bolted onto the first.

Why This Is Different

  • Done-for-you résumé editing focuses on one document.
  • Coaching often requires recurring time and calls.
  • Free templates are generic.

The Next Move Sprint: connects positioning to every asset, résumé, LinkedIn, and outreach, built once and used on your own schedule.

What Actually Happens, Day by Day

Days 1–3

Complete the Positioning Assessment. By the end of Day 3, you'll have a written target role or business problem and a positioning statement. This is also where the guarantee is measured, more on that below.

Days 4–14

Your plan branches based on the specific gaps the assessment found in your materials. If your résumé needs the most work, that's where the plan sends you first. If it's your LinkedIn profile, same idea. By Day 14, you'll have completed career assets, outreach messages prepared, and a plan for the messages you haven't sent yet.

No two people get the identical 14 days, because no two people start with the identical gaps.

The Guarantee

Complete Days 1 Through 3. If You Don't Have a Written Target and Positioning Statement, Get a Refund.

Here's the deal. Complete the first three days of the Sprint. "Target" means your target role or business problem, defined in one clear statement. If you finish Day 3 without a written target and a positioning statement in hand, tell me within seven days and I'll refund you in full. Keep everything you've built so far.

No hoops. No "send us your homework for review." Just: if Day 3 doesn't produce those two things, you shouldn't have paid for it.

Only $97

The Sprint is $97 for the first ten buyers. After that, it's $197. The number is the scarcity, not a countdown clock or a fake deadline.

founding price

If you're one of the first ten, you get:

  • Days 1 through 3 available immediately: the assessment and your personalized report
  • Remaining tools added during the founding period as they're completed
  • 12 months of product updates

Future buyers, after the first ten, receive the complete system from day one. This isn't lifetime access, and it doesn't include calls or coaching. It's the current system, kept current for a year, at a price that won't be offered again once the first ten spots are gone.

Questions You're Probably Asking

Will this get me a job?

No one can promise that, and you should be skeptical of anyone who does. What this gives you: a clear positioning statement, a defined target role or business problem and audience, completed career assets, and outreach messages prepared and ready to send. What you do with those, and how the market responds, isn't something this or anything else can guarantee.

Is this AI-generated?

No. The Positioning Assessment runs on deterministic logic, your specific answers map to specific report content, not a language model guessing at your career.

I'm not techy. Is this going to be complicated?

No software to learn. You answer questions, you get a report, you work through templates. Thirty to forty-five minutes a day.

What if I'm not ready to apply to anything yet?

That's fine. The Sprint builds the materials. When you use them is up to you.

Is there any coaching or calls included?

No. This is a self-paced, digital-only system. Nothing here requires a call.

What if the first three days don't work for me?

Tell me within seven days of finishing Day 3 and you'll get a full refund. Keep what you've built.

Do I have to be interested in consulting?

No. The primary path here is repositioning for your next role. The Expertise-to-Consulting Worksheet is an optional bonus if independent income is something you're curious about, not a second program.

Should I verify what's in my report?

Yes. Every draft is a starting point. Verify every number and claim before you use it.
